Krunal Pandya, Mumbai Indians all-rounder during the Indian Premier League this year, has come out and stated about his marriage. Generally, cricketers don't want to talk about their personal life on public platforms but Krunal didn't hesitate giving an insight into marriage and how he proposed his girlfriend and now wife, Pankhuri Sharma.

Krunal, elder brother of Hardik Pandya, who was also present with him at "What the Duck" show hosted by the famous comedian Vikram Sathaye. Talked about the interesting but private topic and said,  “I proposed to Pankhuri once we were champions and were back in the hotel. I thought it was the right time as it was the best moment of my life up until then. We played in the IPL and I became champion for the first time and Hardik was with me. Everything was dream come true for me and I thought I should make it even more special and I proposed to her.”

Krunal actually proposed after winning the Indian Premier League trophy for Mumbai Indians last year by being the Man of the Match. Krunal received the honour for scoring 47 runs off 38 balls and giving away 31 runs in the four overs he bowled. It became the happiest day of his life.

He was, again, very good for his franchise in this year's IPL season and would now look forward to the off-season that awaits him where he gets the chance to spend more time with his family and his wife.
