Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has recently said that the Cricket Association of  Bengal (CAB) will wait for Supreme Court's decision to implement the Lodha Committee recommendations.

The Supreme Court appointed CoA,  earlier asked the state associations to act before the apex court announced its decision. However, Ganguly said " "It's mentioned in the letter that you cannot make state constitution till the formation of BCCI's constitution. We will wait for the hearing".

Earlier in the year, Sourav Ganguly and Saurashtra Cricket Association chairman Madhukar Worah had written to the BCCI regarding the difficulties they are facing in implementing the recommendations.

Accordingly, Ganguly, in a communication to BCCI (a copy of the letter which is in possession of PTI), wrote: "I beg to state that at the SGM held at Cricket Association of Bengal few months back, it was agreed by the members that in line with BCCI decision, affidavits will be filed in court addressing the honourable Supreme Court about difficulties in implementation of the order at state and BCCI level.

"The members at the Special General Meeting had taken a decision and it would take another SGM to address the issues mailed by you to the respective associations," Ganguly added in that letter.

Worah too expressed his consent regarding the inability of showing up the reports of the recommendations back then.
