Harbhajan Singh has lauded Indian Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s fitness challenge 'HumFitTohIndiaFit' that he initiated earlier this week on the social media, saying it is a good initiative to inspire Indian citizens towards being fit.

Veteran Indian off-spinner who is currently busy plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, set to play final against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Mumbai on Sunday (27 May), has revealed he has also tagged by many to take the fitness challenge on social media.

Harbhajan too has joined this phenomenon and has said that it is a really good initiative before he revealed that two or three people have also tagged him to take up the challenge.

Noteworthy, Mr. Rathore went on his official Twitter handle on 22 May 2018 and shared a video of him doing the push-up to urge the people to adopt a healthy and fit lifestyle by inviting them to post pictures and videos of their work-out on the social media.

Harbhajan told ANI on Friday (25 May), “I have seen that Virat Kohli has tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the fitness challenge. Rajyavardhan Rathore had urged everyone to concentrate towards being fit. He is urging people to post pictures and videos of their fitness regimes. So, he is starting a kind of campaign. Some people have also tagged me. I have already been engaging in fitness. Now, I just have to upload my video.”

The 'Turbanator' also urged people to not take it as just a one-video challenge rather do it on the daily basis to stay fit. The off-spinner signed off by saying, “Fitness is not a challenge. It is a challenge for those who are not working towards fitness. It is a very good initiative. If a person is fit, he can make a better decision. You should not make one video of yourself, but should make a video on the everyday basis.”
