Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli has made himself a brand across the globe in the world of sports not only because of his on-field antics but also his brand endorsing.

He believes that “being a brand endorser comes with its share of responsibilities” and as he is a youth icon and followed by many, and that’s why he never wants to sign brands and ask people to use it that he doesn’t consume.

The dashing right-hander is not only creating havoc among the bowlers on the pitch but also in the world of endorsing brands, as the Indian captain is the most marketable sportsperson in the country, and one of the most valuable athletes across the globe at the moment.

Youngsters, especially in the county, are the biggest followers of Kohli whether be it hitting on the gym or using Kohli's endorsing brands in the daily use, therefore Kohli wants to be the face of those brands which cannot harm the youth, and that’s why he even quits many brands like of Coca-Cola.

Recently, Kohli told IANS in an e-mail interview, “I certainly believe that being a brand endorser comes with its share of responsibilities. While endorsing a brand, you are essentially putting your stamp of approval on it, and asking your fans to follow suit and use it.”

He signed off by saying, “Personally, I do not believe in representing something that I myself do not use, which is the main reason why I do not sign on with brands that I do not consume.”
