Afridi called Dhoni the coolest captain ever

Former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi has once again changed his views on Indian cricket, after blasting India for not playing with Pakistan and not allowing Pakistani players in IPL previously.

Afridi, who will make a brief comeback to international cricket for the charity T20I against West Indies at Lord’s later this month; called MS Dhoni the coolest captain in the whole world and also picked Virat Kohli as his favorite cricketer.

During an interview with FOX Sports Asia, Afridi was asked some questions, during which he answered Dhoni, calling him the best captain in the world, he has seen. He also recalled Virat Kohli’s gesture of sending a signed Indian team jersey for Shahid Afridi charity foundation.

Afridi also named mercurial batsman Umar Akmal as the ‘loudest’ player and the best dancer in the Pakistan team and selected the legendary Wasim Akram as the top leader of the side. The all-rounder picked batsman Shoaib Maqsood as the laziest player in the Pakistan team.

He recalled his knock of 141 in the Chennai Test against India in 1999 series as his finest moment in cricket.
