India skipper Virat Kohli on Wednesday (May 9) expressed his concern over the survey that has found one-third of the Indian respondents had not indulged in any physical activity in the last one year.

Kohli, along with PUMA India, carried out a study over physical activity and sports adoption in the country and the India captain was left distressed with the outcome.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Virat informed his followers about India’s different states’ participation in physical activities through an image.

“DISTURBED!” Kohli wrote in the caption of the picture.

Goa topped the list of cities where people played a sport at least once in the past one year with 89 percent. Hyderabad was second in the list with 58 percent while Mumbai was placed at third spot with 57 percent.

Kohli is widely deemed as one of the fittest cricketers in the world today. He has also led to a revolution in the Indian cricket dressing room, where fitness has become paramount and also the benchmark for young and aspiring cricketers.

Earlier this year, Virat had urged kids to go out and play and not be engrossed in video games.

"These days you see kids playing video games a lot more than outdoor sport. Physical activity is very important. And my message is not just for the youth, it is for everyone in our country," Kohli had said during the launch of his lifestyle brand.
