Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni is continuing with his sublime form with the willow in the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.
Dhoni has compiled 286 runs at an astounding average of 71.50 in just 8 games that he has played so far in the IPL 2018. He has been continuously troubling the bowlers in the tournament and has caught a second wind as a finisher.
The right-hander has been on fire this season and has finished almost every match for CSK in his evergreen style of hitting six, leading the team to 6 wins out of 8 matches. At the moment, the CSK is standing at the top of the IPL 2018 points table with 12 points.
Dhoni is known for his superb ability to quick scoring by hitting the ball out of the park and this IPL 2018, he has cracked 20 sixes so far.
At the moment, the Jharkhand wicket-keeper batsman is the fifth on the list of players with most sixes in the lucrative T20 tournament, having hit 176 sixes. Chris Gayle leads the list with a tally of 288 sixes.
Meanwhile, the vintage Dhoni hammered the second longest six of the 2018 season off Avesh Khan that was 108m long during CSK’s match against the Delhi Daredevils (DD) in Pune on 30 April 2018.
On Monday, Dhoni played another fantastic knock of 51* off 22 balls laced with five sixes and two boundaries of the IPL 2018 to guide his team to a 13-run win over DD at home.
