Shane Watson and George Bailey to help draft a charter of behaviour for Australia

Cricket Australia wants to work on the ethics of its players.

Tim Paine and Rachael Haynes will be assisted by Bailey and Watson to draft a code of behavior

Cricket Australia has asked former Australian captains and Test cricketers, Shane Watson and George Bailey, to join current Australia captain Tim Paine and Rachael Haynes in helping draft a charter of behavior after the ball-tampering saga.

This player review will be overseen by the former Test opener Rick McCosker and fast bowler Pat Cummins alongside former Australia coach Darren Lehmann. In a statement, Cricket Australia David Peever has said, “We understand and share the disappointment of fans and the broader Australian community about these events (in South Africa),"

"The board is determined to do all we can to prevent such events from ever happening again. The reviews will commence immediately, and we fully anticipate being able to begin implementing findings before the start of the 2018-19 cricket season."

Australian Cricketer's Association president Greg Dyer has also said in a statement that, "We are concerned that our players may be subject to conditions which could be different from those that apply to players from other countries against which they play,"

He further said, "Changes to player behavior, expectations or sanctions must be aligned with those which would be handed down to players on both sides of international cricket matches."
