Our sport cricket, is as much a mutual admiration society as it is a competitive world. Cricketers have a lot of respect for their teammates and opponents.

These days, cricketers celebrating and appreciating another cricketer's successes and their birthdays can be regularly seen over the social media and various other platforms. Recently, two Pakistani cricketing greats, Shahid Afridi and Wasim Akram, were indulged in one such fine moment that won hearts. 

Wasim Akram, who visited Australia recently, posted an image via Twitter recently where he posed with a statue that reflected Afridi's famous stand straight arms-up celebration. The image was captioned, “When you come across a bit of BoomBoom in Australia, You salute! @SAfridiOfficial #AustraliaPakistan.”

To which, Afridi was quoted in a highly respectable tone. Stating in his tweet, “Whatever I am today, It’s due to your great support when I started my career.looking good stay fit.”
