World cricket's governing body –International Cricket Council (ICC) reportedly will take action concerning their tweet related to the Indian politics on their official Twitter handle, which made the buzz on the social media on Wednesday (25 April).

The ICC  retweeted a funny old video, which depicted the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Asaram Bapu, who is currently in jail for guilty of raping a teen. The caption reads, "Naarayan, Naaryan .." while inside text reads, “Sharing some old sweet memories between @narendramodi and Asaram.”

However, the tweet was deleted after 10 minutes, but it was enough time for the Twitterati to grab a screenshot to get people laughing at ICC, which is only supposed to share the cricketing updates.

Later, the ICC had received heavy criticism from cricket fans across the world for sharing the same on Twitter. Even, Island Cricket administrator Daniel Alexander has also taken the screenshot and went on his official Twitter handle to share it and termed it as ‘Ugly’.

Meanwhile, Alistair Hogg, Digital Content Manager at the ICC, thanked Alexander for sharing the screenshot on his Twitter handle and said that they are investigating that tweet on priority.
