Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik are expecting their first child in October 2018, as the tennis queen announces the good news in a style, and later her cricketer husband confirmed the news on the social media as well.

In the recent times, there were rumors that one of South Asia's highest-profile couples are expecting, and now they put down all rumors and shared the good news with everyone on the social media.

On Monday (23 April), Grand Slam-winning Indian tennis star broke the news on her social media handle with a very adorable way, as Sania posted an image of a baby vest and a feeding bottle between two T-shirts bearing her and Malik's last name on her Twitter handle.

In her post, the star hinted at the surname of their coming child -MirzaMalik.

Later, former Pakistan skipper also shared the same picture on his official Twitter handle with the same caption on Monday. His post reads, “#BabyMirzaMalik ????????❤️”

Meanwhile, Mirza, who has won six Grand Slam doubles titles, including the 2015 Wimbledon doubles with Martina Hingis, is currently out of action due to a jumper knee problem since October last year and even she is yet to confirm about her return to the game after her pregnancy.

As per reports in AFP, Sania said in a statement, “We are soon to become parents. Having thought about it for a while, we both felt right now is the correct time to start a family. When we found out, we were ecstatic and couldn’t wait to give out this news to our fans and well-wishers. We are very excited to enter this new phase of our lives and look forward to our journey as parents.”

The 31-year-old married Malik back in 2010 in Hyderabad, and this is their first child after their eight years wedding.
