Cricket South Africa (CSA) have announced on Monday (23 April) their home schedule for the 2018/19 season keeping in mind next year's ICC 2019 World Cup in England.
According to the latest scheduled, South Africa is all set to host Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe while they made up the fixtures with the aim to play more One Day Internationals as part of their practice for the upcoming mega ICC event in England.
On the other hand, South Africa will play Pakistan in the marquee Boxing Day and New Year Tests, while it will be the first tour of the men in Green to the rainbow nation since 2013.
Proteas’ International bumper season will start with hosting Zimbabwe for both ODI and T20 Internationals in three-match series at the end of the September, and then they will invite Pakistan for a full series. They will also play Sri Lanka in a full series in February next year.
