International life coach Jasmin Waldmann doesn’t need any introduction since she is renowned for her work with celebrities of different arenas. World’s No.1 search engine, Google, might suggest you that Waldmann has coached India’s legendary captain MS Dhoni in the past, but she recently revealed that she didn’t even know the ace cricketer till her first trip to India.

As per the reports in Hindustan Times, Waldmann had a tie-up with Dhoni but for a promotional campaign of a sports brand.

“I didn’t know [Dhoni] despite having studied sports, health and cricket in theory. So when they told me I’d be working with him, I was like, ‘oh, alright’. And then they flew me down; people were screaming his name everywhere and then I was like, ‘OH, ALRIGHT’ (laughs),” Waldmann told Hindustan Times.

Dhoni is widely deemed as one of the greatest cricketers to have come out from India. He was recently bestowed with the prestigious Padma Bhushan award for his contribution to Indian cricket. The Jharkhand man is the only Indian captain to have won two world titles (2011 ODI World Cup and 2007 World T20) besides lifting the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

As far as Dhoni’s cricket career is concerned – he has scored 9967 runs in 318 ODIs thus far. He has also played 90 Test matches, notching up 4876 runs. Dhoni has amassed 16 international hundreds (six in Tests and 10 in ODIs) while batting at the lower middle order in all form of cricket.
