After losing the game last night versus the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai Indians captain, felt that the main reason for the loss for his side was the inability of the batting line up to put a substantial score on the board.

Rohit himself is a very important cog in MI's wheel and couldn't get the team off to the kind of start he would've liked. The Mumbai Indians never got going with the bat and finished with a less than enough looking 147.

The game became a close one in the end but Mumbai eventually lost the contest, their second consecutive defeat after losing to Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter.

Talking about the match afterwards. Rohit said, "Being at the receiving end for the second time is tough to digest. It wasn't a good enough total, and our batsmen should have done better."

"The bowlers showed a lot of character to get us back into the game. We have a great squad, and for the youngsters to come out and perform, it's amazing. They have a long way to go, Tough luck, we fought till the end, but to lose isn't a great feeling,"

Rohit leads the most successful IPL side that has a tendency to start off slowly every season. He would know that he has to stop this trend. He will also know that there is enough time left in the season to make the telling impact. Expect Mumbai to comeback.

MI will take on Delhi Daredevils at home on Saturday with the hope of winning their first game of the season and SRH will face Kolkata Knight Riders in an away fixture on the same day.
