MS Dhoni was spotted at the 10th edition of Defence Expo held at Chennai from 11-14th April 2018. The former Indian skipper holds the honorary Lieutenant Colonel rank. The Indian Territorial Army conferred the honorary rank to him on 1 November 2011.

In the 10th edition of Defence Expo, India is projecting its Defence manufacturing capabilities to the world. With a tagline 'India: The Emerging Defence Manufacturing Hub', the DefExpo is aiming to help brand India as a defence exporter of defence systems and components.

India's indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, Main Battle Tank (MBT) Arjun MK-II and Arjun MK-I, Nirbhay Missile System are the star attractions at the Defence Research and Development Organisation's stall at the four-day DefExpo 2018 at Kancheepuram near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Dhoni had impressed everyone as he received Padma Bhushan Award from President Ram Nath Kovind, wearing his military uniform. Coincidently,  he was conferred with the prestigious civilian honour on the seventh anniversary of their famous World Cup triumph.

The 36-year-old Dhoni is the second Indian cricketer after Kapil Dev to receive this honour.
