The commonwealth games sportsperson Brendan Starc has a fine connection with our sport because of being related to a few well known international cricketers. Brendan is Australian cricketers Mitchell Starc's younger brother and Alyssa Healy's brother-in-law.
The 24-year-old, Starc achieved a personal best of 2.32m to clinch the gold medal for the first time in the ongoing biggest event of sports. Starc won the prestigious feat enjoying the moment of his career in front of fans around the world with the Australian national flag draped around his shoulders.

While Starc senior, Mitchell bowled a lot of overs in the tough test tour that just concluded in South Africa. He'll be nursing a knee injury for which he is missing the current IPL season.
