As much as they play their cricket hard and tough on the field, Indian cricketers are known for their off-field fun and activities. Tattoos, hair-styles and a certain style statement is an inner morale boost for the players to build their confidence both on and off the field.
Moreover, there is a diverse change among the players as most of them are now prefer to look in beard. On Wednesday (April 10), however, two cricketers from Virat Kohli’s troops shaved their beard. Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja and opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan took the “Break The Beard” challenge and dedicated their new looks to the fans.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Jadeja posted a video and captioned it as: “Kya Kamaal look hain, Gabru Gabbar. Six ho ya style, taking this season to a #Newlevel. This is for all #csk fans #BreaktheBeard #newlook #rajputboy #whistlepodu”.
Similarly, Dhawan tweeted: “Here is something new for my fans, from my fans! Time to take it to the #NewLevel. Gabru ni bolda ohda swag bolda. Buraaahhhh????????????????????????#newlook #breakthebeard”.
In the ongoing season of Indian Premier League, Jadeja and Dhawan’s teams are doing exceptionally well. While CSK have won both their thrilling encounters against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders thus far, Sunrisers have thrashed Rajasthan Royals in their opening encounter of IPL 2018.
