Fan fakes his kidnapping to watch MS Dhoni play for Chennai Super Kings

As per reports, fan is from Dhoni's state Jharkhand.

The craze for MS Dhoni is on a different level in India. He is adored by the fans and few of the incidents prove that his fan base is unmatched. Talking about a recent incident, it is more shocking than we could think.

A fan of Dhoni from Jharkhand faked his kidnapping just to watch the first game of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Mumbai Indians (MI).

According to Times of India, Saurabh Kumar, Class X student, went to Mumbai to watch CSK's opening match at Wankhede. He was missing since Thursday (April 5th). Ashok Saaw, his father who runs a hotel business, found Saurabh's scooter lying in a deserted condition in the forest near famous Razarappa temple.

On Friday, he informed the Gola police station about his missing. 

Saurabh is a student of DAV Public School, he went missing during his return from his school. A police team immediately rushed to Madhya Pradesh, but the location of Saurabh was constantly changing. Later, Saurabh was finally caught by police in Mumbai.

Police said that Saurabh is Dhoni's die-hard fan. He didn't want to miss the opportunity to watch Dhoni playing live at the Wankhede Stadium.

He knew that his parents would not allow him to go to Mumbai, so he came to Mumbai himself. Ramgarh police officers said that it isn't was the case of kidnapping.
