Shahid Afridi's tweet on the sensitive issue of Kashmir has made Indians stand up against him. Afridi had posted a tweet on the current violence in the Kashmir, and had urged the UN to intervene in the civil violence and take stern actions against India.
Sportspersons from both the countries then opened up on the issue and stood for their country.
The former Pakistani skipper Afridi, who fanned the fire, was criticized by Indian fans as well as cricketers on social media for his comments. From Gautam Gambhir to Suresh Raina and Ishant Sharma, all lashed the Pakistani cricketer.
Amid of all this, Afridi received support from his country. His buddy Ahmed Shehzad took Twitter and asked Indian fans and players to not target Afridi, who wants peace.
"When this picture was being taken Lala insisted that the flag be held upright..as it shld b. As neighbors v have rights toward each other n also responsibility 2 spread peace n love. It hurts me 2 c the way my Indian peers reacting to our national hero..totally not cool ???????? ," wrote Shehzad.
