Hasan Ali looking forward to Windies T20Is

Young Pakistani pace sensation – Hasan Ali is looking forward to the upcoming home series against the West Indies, saying “the hosts won't be complacent at Caribbean batters.”

The 24-year-old had missed the first leg of the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 due to an ankle injury that he sustained during Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand. But now the youngster is completely fit and able to bowling with full rhythm at the home series against Windies.

Pakistan and the West Indies are all set to play three-match T20 International series next month in Karachi, and Hasan said the entire team is excited to play cricket in Karachi after 9 years.

He told Geo TV, “I am completely fit and bowling with full rhythm. It is good to know that WI team is coming, we all are excited to be playing cricket in Karachi after 9 years. Look forward to the series. West Indies are good batting side, we won’t be complacent even if they’re not coming with full strength.”

The pacer also said it is a great sign of cricket’s return to the country after hosing IPL 2017 final, World XI, and then the final leg of the PSL 2018, and now Windies. He is also hoping that whoever hesitate to come here and play they will surely play in Pakistan very soon.

Hasan signed off by saying, “Cricket is returning to Pakistan, big names came to Pakistan with World XI and also for PSL games this time. Those who didn’t come today will surely come tomorrow.”
