England Cricket Team head coach and former Australian cricketer –Trevor Bayliss, on Tuesday, said he felt “embarrassed” with the latest ball-tampering scandal which stunned Australian cricket completely.

He also said that Steve Smith –led Australian side made a terrible mistake in the Cape Town Test, and they will be definitely punished by the Cricket Australia (CA).

According to a report in the official website of Cricket Australia cricket.com.au, Bayliss said, “I'm obviously disappointed, and as an Australian I'm embarrassed. (Australia captain) Steve (Smith) is a lovely young bloke who has made a terrible mistake, and I'm sure Cricket Australia (CA) will work out the course of action required. They obviously will be punished, but I've no idea how severe, we'll have to see what Cricket Australia come up with.”

Australia displayed fantastic cricket and won the Ashes 4-0, and Bayliss said he had not seen any evidence of the attempting to adjust the state of the ball during the series. He added, “I thought we were outplayed by a much better team. I've got no complaints.”

Meanwhile, England’s fast bowler –Stuart Broad is surprised with the infamous act by  Australia, saying ‘he doesn't understand why they have changed their method’.

Broad told reporters in Auckland, “I saw Steve Smith say it was the first time they have tried it. To me, it's surprising - why they would change a method that's been working?”

He signed off by saying, “If you look at the Ashes series we've just played, they reverse swung the ball in nearly all of those Test matches, sometimes in conditions where you wouldn't expect the ball to reverse. I don't understand why they have changed their method for this one game.”

Meanwhile, Cricket Australia President James  Sutherland has said that Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft has been asked to return back home after their infringement. Tim Paine will shoulder captaincy responsibilities in the final Test in Johannesburg.
