India women's cricketer Smriti Mandhana was featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2018 list. The Forbes list highlights 300 young individuals driving change in Asia. There are three other Indians on the list of 'Entertainment & Sports' category along with Mandhana, which includes actress Anushka Sharma, Badminton player PV Sindhu, and Indian national Polo team captain Padmanabh Singh.

The southpaw batswoman Mandhana has emerged as one of the top batters for Indian women's team in last one year. The 21-year-old made history when she became the first Indian female cricketer to score a double hundred in a one-day game back in 2013.

She also slammed the fastest fifty by an Indian player in women’s T20I cricket recently. Opening the innings against England in the third match of the ongoing women’s T20 tri-series at Brabourne Stadium, Smriti reached her half-century in 25 balls to break her own 30-ball 50 records she had set a few days ago against Australia.

The overall record for the fastest fifty in women’s T20Is belongs to Sophie Devine (18 balls) of New Zealand.

Smriti was part of the Indian team which reached the final of the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup where the team lost to England by nine runs.
