Robin Uthappa’s epic transformation will leave you stunned

Robin Uthappa was recently appointed as vice-captain by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for IPL 2018.

Fitness is an important aspect for an International player to represent the nation in the game of cricket, and that's why cricketers constantly work hard to keep themselves fit.

However, Indian batsman –Robin Uthappa has never really been the fittest Indian cricket going around. With the IPL coming up, Uthappa has taken it up upon himself to return slim and fit. He has started his training and his Instagram posts are a proof of it. 

It all started from September last year when the Karnataka batsman posted a video on his official Instagram handle where he was seen sweating it out at the gym to acquire the chiseled body.

Uthappa is one of those cricketers –likes of Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya –who do not shy away from sharing his gym or workout videos and pictures on the social media.

In the picture that he shared on the social media, we can see that the 32-year-old having an abdominal structure with layers of fat on top of it.  However,  he has managed to shed all the extra flab from his body in around 6 months with the help of both weight training and cardiovascular exercises.

The cricketer has shared videos of some compound lifting, which helped him to gain muscles, from time to time. Besides exercising in the gym, Uthappa also worked on the endurance with cardio to bring the superb change in his body, and now he is looking fab in his new toned avatar.

Uthappa is all set to once again play for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming IPL 2018.
