Australian vice-captain David Warner and South African wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock have been all over the social media for their heated argument in a stairwell during the first Test in Durban.

CCTV footage clearly shows that the swashbuckling Aussie opener pointing and directing a verbal barrage at de Kock, and many legendary cricketers, fans and Cricket Pundits has been expressed their views over the latest incident on the social media. The incident happened when the players of both teams were walking back to the dressing room for tea during the Day 4 of the first Test in Durban.

After a long time, Warner has been in the news for a wrong reason; previously he made the headlines nearly five years ago for his involvement in an infamous confrontation with England’s Joe Root at the Walkabout bar in Birmingham.

However, the reason about the altercation has yet to disclose, but it is being speculated that an alleged dig over Warner's wife Candice led players to come into the headlines for the wrong reason.

Meanwhile, Cricket legends –Adam Gilchrist and Graeme Smith are the two –who were highly unimpressed with this incident. Even Australian legend Adam called it an "Ugly scene".

On Monday (5 March), Gilchrist went on social media to express his views on the latest altercation between Warner and De Kock. He wrote on his official Twitter handle, “Ugly scenes in Durban. Can only assume something very personal has been throw at @davidwarner31 for this type of reaction. Not a good look all round. #SAvAUS”

While, Smith, though agreed that such incidents are not good, but seems not happy with Adam’s comment and replied him on Twitter, “Gilly- Warner crossed many personal boundaries with the South Africans, so we can’t be surprised when there is eventually a reaction. If players are happy to give it,they have to be prepared to take it,too. On both sides! But agreed not a good look. #SAvsAUS”
