The ODI series between New Zealand and England stands at a level of equilibrium with the third ODI to be played in Wellington on Saturday. Ahead of the next ODI, New Zealand have been hit by a major injury concern.
Omnisport reports that Kane Willaimson will replace Ross Taylor in the third ODI in Wellington. Taylor hurt his quad during the second ODI, which England won to level the five-match series at 1-1, on Wednesday.
After training on Friday, New Zealand announced Taylor would miss the third game in Wellington on Saturday before being assessed.
Williamson, who missed the second ODI due to a hamstring injury passed a fitness test and is available. In the first two ODIs, while Santner's all-round show helped New Zealand emerge victorious at Hamilton, Stokes made a statement on his comeback with his all-round show at The Bay Oval to help England draw level in the contest.
