Team India is looking well tuned under Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri. The team has recently performed well on overseas tour of South Africa and the road for World Cup 2019 has begun for the team.

Former India skipper Kapil Dev thinks the role of MS Dhoni also comes into play if India wants to lift the World Cup title in 2019. Kapil, who led India to their first World Cup triumph in 1983, said the deadly combination of Kohli's aggression and Dhoni's calmness can do wonders for the team.

"If you can have the combination there is nothing wrong because you need to have somebody on the field who is calm and quiet and also understands the game and somebody who is very aggressive," Kapil said about the deadly combination.

However, he added that it shouldn't cross the line and make sure they don't overdo it.

"But if everybody is very aggressive, then it's difficult. And again if everyone is calm, then also it is difficult. So if you can have a combination of both aggression and calmness, I think it will help the team," Kapil quipped.

India will next play in the tri-nation Nidahas Trophy 2018 from March 6. The team will play under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma after Virat was rested from the tri-series.

India were last led by Rohit in December 2017 against Sri Lanka and Rohit had scored a 35-ball 100 in one of the T20Is.
