The Mahindra Scorpio Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) 2018 saw some big cricketing names winning big awards.

The Indian men’s cricket team won the Team of Year award by popular choice and the Indian women’s cricket team won the Inspiration of the Year award for their brilliant run in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017.

Anil Kumble won the Coach of the Year award

The cricketer of the year awards went to the no.1 ranked ODI bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Indian women’s team’s T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur. Former India head coach Anil Kumble won the coach of the year award.

Prithvi Shaw - emerging player of the year award

Mumbai cricket's newest talent and U19 World cup winning captain Prithvi Shaw won the Emerging Player of the Year Award (Popular choice).

This is the third edition of TOISA, where a jury comprising Abhinav Bindra, Bhaichung Bhutia, Devendra Jhajharia, Reeth Abraham and Gautam Gambhir along with the Chief Editor of Times Internet Ltd, Rajesh Kalra.
