Without a shadow of doubt, the Trans-Tasman cricket rivalry between Australia and New Zealand is one of the biggest in the sporting world. It becomes the battle of nerves as well as pride whenever these two neighbours lock horns against each other on the cricket field. Rivalry aside though, there seems to be a great bit of camaraderie between the top cricketers of both the nation.

Recently, Australia’s swashbuckling opener David Warner opened up about his close bonding with Black Caps skipper Kane Williamson. Both Warner and Williamson play for the same franchise (Sunrisers Hyderabad) in the Indian Premier League and often play darts to pass the time.

Addressing the media ahead of the Trans-Tasman Twenty20 tri-series finale at Eden Park, Warner had said: “I really enjoy Kane’s company, he is a great fellow. We actually play a lot of darts together.”

"He always sends me these photos. He places his darts in the 180-triple 20 zone, he sends me a photo saying 'look bro I got 180'."

"In the IPL over the last two or three years, we would've thrown at least 5000 darts and we couldn't get one - first one when he gets home he throws one? I said it doesn't count because I didn't see it," added Warner while highlighting his rapport with Williamson.
