As per latest ICC rankings for batsmen in Women's cricket, Ellyse Perry has pipped the Indian skipper Mithali Raj to top the rankings. It is Perry's very first achievement of such kind in ODI cricket. Mithali after a mediocre ODI series against South Africa has dropped to the third place in the rankings.

Smriti Mandhana, after an impressive series against South Africa that saw her score 219 runs across three ODIs, has jumped 14 places to the 21st position. South Africa's Mignon du Preez climbed two spots to the 12th position after her series aggregate of 90 runs, while Dan van Niekerk has jumped three spots to the 20th position.

In the ODI rankings for bowlers, Jhulan Goswami who recently got to 200 ODI wickets is placed second while South Africa's Marizanne Kapp tops the list with a point difference of 10 from Jhulan.

The top three spots on the all-rounders' list remain as it is. The list is headed by Perry who is followed by Stafanie Taylor and van Niekerk.

Earlier, Indian women won the three-match ODI series against South Africa women 2-1 and they have made a winning start to the T20 series as well.

On the other end, in the men's ODI series India and South Africa will be playing the sixth and Final ODI today in Centurion. Leading the ODI series 4-1, India have already won the series. However, this final ODI holds great importance for both these teams to end the series on a high. In spite of it being a dead rubber, both these teams will go all out for a win.
