Indian skipper –Virat Kohli, who is currently enjoying success both as Batsman and captain has been in sizzling form with willow, as he hammered his 34th ODI ton in the third match of the six-match ODI series to led India to 3-0 win against South Africa.

Kohli is very much the focal point of discussion due to his form. Various cricket experts has hailed him as the best in the modern era and Australian cricketer Michael Hussy is no different. 

At the moment, former Australia batsman –Mike Hussey is overwhelmed by Kohli's stunning form, saying the 29-year-old cricketer is probably the best among the modern era’s cricket stars.

In the Cape Town ODI, Kohli notched up his 34th ODI hundred while he has now 55 international hundreds in his kitty and continuing to break a plethora of records and going on to make new ones at will.

Hussey told Sports Tak, “I think he’s doing better than pretty good. He is doing exceptionally well, he’s one of the great players for sure.”

Meanwhile, the 42-year-old has joined the debate over who is the best batsman of the current generation among Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, David Warner and Kane Williamson. Hussey went on to choose Kohli, saying the right-hander is the best cricketer among them.

Hussey signed off by saying, “It's very difficult to rate who is the best among Kohli, David Warner and Steve Smith. On their day, they are all as good as each other but Kohli is probably is the best. His consistency in all forms of the game is phenomenal.”
