India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is celebrating his 28th birthday today (February 5). Having made his international debut back in 2012, Bhuvi has come a long way to become the spearhead of India’s pace attack in limited-overs cricket.

In fact, Kumar has played a massive role in two of India’s most meaningful overseas victories in recent past – Lord’s 2014 and Wanderers 2018. While Bhuvneshwar has scalped 6-wicket haul besides scoring 88 runs in India’s 95-run victory at Lord’s, he was adjudged Man of the Match for his awe-inspiring all-round show in the recently held Wanderers Test against South Africa.

During his 6-year long international career thus far, Bhuvneshwar has represented India in 21 Tests, 83 ODIs and 23 T20Is. The Meerut born seamer has scalped 63 Test wickets at an impressive average of 26.09 until now, whereas his ODI and T20I wickets tally read 90 and 21 respectively.

As Bhuvneshwar Kumar enters in the 29th season of his life, wishes pour in for him from the cricketing fraternity. From the teammates to the opponents, a lot of former and current cricketers made the occasion special for Bhuvi with their heartfelt messages on micro-blogging site Twitter.
