U19 World Cup 2018: Navjot Singh Sidhu credits Team India's performance

The performance of the Indian U19 boys has drawn a lot of accolades and well wishes from cricket lovers around the world. 

Former cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is the latest to join the chorus. In a recent interaction with PTI, Sindhu was seen speaking highly speaking of the Indian team The Indian team crushed arch-rivals Pakistan by 203 runs in the semi-final clash of the prestigious tournament in Christchurch.

Sidhu said Dravid played a key role in grooming the skills of the Indian team, that delivered par excellence performance in batting, bowling as well as fielding.

He was impressed with Shubman Gill's effort against Pakistan. He scored 102 off 94 balls to take India to just one step away from clinching the trophy. He even went to the extent of calling his innings classy. 

Earlier, in the quarterfinals, the Indian team beat Bangladesh whereas in the league phase, the Indian team topped the group by defeating Australia, Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea.

India has won three U19 titles so far having reached the finals six times.
