As India celebrates its 69th Republic Day, wishes poured in from all around the globe. India showcased its military power and cultural diversity at the Republic Day parade in the presence of 10 ASEAN leaders at Rajpath. It was indeed a proud moment for all the Indians.
On this special occasion, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar took to micro-blogging site Twitter to wish his 23 million followers. The Master Blaster posted a 19-second long video wherein he reminded his countrymen about the famous quote of Mahatma Gandhi.
“With the feeling of great pride, faith in our heart, memories in our soul, let’s salute the nation on Republic Day. As the father of our nation rightly said – “be the change you want to see in this world”. Feel proud to be an India. Happy Republic Day,” Tendulkar quoted in his message.

“Salute to our Soldiers who are there to protect us whether on frozen battlefields or sun scorched outposts; in the remotest corners in the most adverse conditions. #HappyRepublicDay to all,” tweeted Sehwag.
