U19 World Cup 2018: Day 10 Round up

Two matches of lesser note were played today in the ICC U19 World Cup 2018 which moves into the tenth day of the competition. Although these matches were Plate quarterfinal games that lesser known teams were playing the contest made it a dead rubber. Practically these teams are out of contention for the knockout stages. 

Canada U19 vs Papua New Guinea U19, Plate Quarter-Final 1

Canada won the first of the two Plate Quarterfinal games. Akash Gill's century (120) ensured that Canada posted a competitive 265 on the board. The bowlers than bundled out PNG for 185 with all the bowlers sharing the wickets equally amongst themselves.

Namibia U19 vs Zimbabwe U19, Plate Quarter-Final 2

In the second match, Zimbabwe U19 achieved a rather easy victory against Namibia. First Zimbabwe bowled out Namibia for a paltry 113 and then chased down the target inside 20 overs and win the match by 7 wickets.
