IPL 2018: Harbhajan Singh has a special message for Franchises ahead of IPL auction

Veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, on Thursday, went on to social media to share a special message for the franchisees ahead of the mega-auction for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, which is scheduled to be held on 27th and 28th January in Bengaluru.

Out of Indian favour –Harbhajan Singh was released by Mumbai Indians (MI) for whom he played since the inauguration of the lucrative T20 tournament in 2008.

As the IPL franchisees will grab their players on the auction for the 11th season of the glittering cricketing event, the 37-year-old Punjab cricketer is also excited for the auction. The ‘Turbanator’  will definitely be grabbed some eyeballs with his sportive message on Twitter, saying he is the first player to have touched the IPL trophy this year, so pick him to add further advantage to be able to lift the trophy.

The Jalandhar lad is among other veteran Indian players, including Yuvraj Singh, and Gautam Gambhir, who have listed their base price at the maximum of INR 2 crore (USD 315,000 approx) on the board for IPL 2018 auction, which will saw a whopping 1122 players geared up to go under the hammer.

On his official Twitter handle, Harbhajan Singh posted a picture of himself with the coveted IPL trophy and wrote, “First one to lay the hands on the IPL trophy this year.. incentive of getting me in team, you get the trophy with me ! Lol ????! #IPLAuction #StarSports #re.imagine”
