The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has taken a big step in a bid to getting back into the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) fold, as 31 out of 33 units of the RCA have agreed to accept the apex body’s terms.

There were only 2 votes, which were not in favour of the BCCI diktat, but those two votes were not eligible to vote since proxy voting was not allowed.

At its SGM in last December, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has made it clear that the Board would give the suspended State Association relief if RCA meets the terms with the apex body’s terms, and according to which former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi could not return to the State fold.

As per PTI, a senior BCCI office-bearer said, “Today RCA had their SGM and 31 out of the 33 state association’s decision had voted in favour of implementing the BCCI terms and conditions. The RCA will submit their minutes to the High Court during the next hearing on January 25.”

If RCA has taken the decision that means Rajasthan Royals (RR) may stay back and play its Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 home matches at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.
