Following the conclusion of South Africa tour, Team India are all set to travel to Sri Lanka again. The "Men in Blue" will feature in a Twenty20 International tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The tri-nation series named as ‘Nidahas Trophy’ will be played from March 6 to March 18.

The tournament is conducted to mark the island nation’s 70th independence. The full itinerary of the tournament was disclosed on Thursday (January 18) as per which India will face the hosts in the opening game.

The tri-series championship will follow a round-robin format with all the three teams facing each other twice, and the top two progressing to the final. Sri Lanka’s iconic cricket stadium, R. Premadasa will host all the matches.

Last year, India had toured Sri Lanka for a full-fledged bilateral series and recorded a historic 9-0 clean-sweep across all three formats. They had beaten the hosts in Tests (3-0), ODIs (5-0) and in one-off T20I (1-0). Dsport has acquired the TV rights and will telecast all the seven matches live.

Here is the full schedule of NIDAHAS Trophy T20I tri-series:
