U19 World Cup 2018: Day 6 Round - up

There were two matches played today in the U19 World Cup. While Canada won the first match, England got the better of Bangladesh in the second match. 

Namibia 19 vs Canada U19


Batting first Namibia scored 193 with contributions from all the batsmen cumulatively. Canada scored the target in 42 overs. Canada chased the score down with notable contributions and won the game comfortably.

Canada Under-19s 197 for 6 (Arslan 72, Gill 52, Kevin 50*) beat Namibia Under-19s 193 (Louwrens 38, Gill 4-43) by four wickets

Bangladesh U19 vs England U19

In the second match of the day England U19 dominated minnows Bangladesh. England romped their way through to chasing 177. They chased it down inside 30 overs with skipper Harry Brook scoring an unbeaten ton (102) to take his side. home.

Bangladesh surely looked the inferior of the two teams and were thoroughly outplayed from the game.
