Big night at the ICC Awards 2017 for Hasan Ali and Rashid Khan

Both the players won awards.

The likes of Hasan Ali and Rashid Khan were in for huge honours at the ICC Awards 2017. Hasan Ali won the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award for his constant performance for Pakistan in the last 12 months. He had a huge role to play in Pakistan's victorious Champions Trophy campaign. He took 13 wickets in Pakistan's successful campaign and announced his arrival to the cricketing world. 

Rashid Ali was the next big name to be awarded the ICC Associate Cricketer of the Year Award. He took 60 international wickets in 43 matches last year which is a record for any bowler from an associate nation. 

Besides them, ICC Elite panel umpire Marais Erasmus won the ICC Umpire of the Year award for having a successful 2017. 

Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, James Anderson, Nathan Lyon, Kagiso Rabada and Kane Williamson were some of the other big names enlisted to win various awards. Virat Kohli noticeably was nominated in 3 categories.
