A dominant India is all set for a title clash with arch-rivals Pakistan in the Blind Cricket World Cup 2018 after thrashing Bangladesh by seven wickets in the semi-final of the tournament on Wednesday.

The defending champions previously have beaten Pakistan by seven wickets in their match on January 13, and now the Men in Blue once again definitely would like to regain the prestigious Cup.

Now, India will face Pakistan, which qualified for the summit clash after beating Sri Lanka by 156 runs in the semi-final in Ajman, UAE, in the World Cup final on January 20 in Sharjah.

Bangladesh had won the toss and elected to bat, but they failed to make a good start against India as they lost two early wickets with less than 50 runs, then India’s strong bowling restricted them to a modest score 256 in just 38.5 overs with Durga Rao took 3 wickets in 3 overs by giving away only 20 runs, while Deepak Malik and Prakash bagged 2 wickets each.

In reply, India’s Ganeshbhai Muhudkar’s outstanding 112 off 69 balls, Deepak Malik, who was retired out for 53 off 43 balls, and Naresh’s handy 40 runs in 18 balls help the defending champions easily to qualify for the final of the tournament. Muhudkar was awarded as the  Man of the Match for his match-winning knock.
