Indian Hockey Team sends a wonderful message to India U19 team

India U19 players extended their support for The Hockey India in New Zealand.

Rahul Dravid –India Under 19 coach is currently in New Zealand with the national side to compete in the ongoing ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018, where they have won both games against Australia and Papua New Guinea that they played so far in the prestigious tournament.

As the legendary cricketer is busy coaching the national Team for big ICC event, but when Dravid came to know that the Indian hockey team is also here, he took some time from his busy schedule and reached there to meet them to encourage the players, and once again proved he is a real sportsman.

He also extended his best wishes to the Indian Hockey Team ahead of their Invitational tournament opener against Japan. Former Indian Hockey skipper and goalkeeper PR Shreejesh also shared a picture of Rahul Dravid with Hockey Team on his official Twitter handle.

His post reads, “Great encouragement from the legend of cricket who was humble enough to drop in to support hockey.. thanks a lot rahul bhai @Im_Dravid ???????? #arealsportsman”

Not just that India U-19 players along with coach Dravid paid their attendance to show their support for the national hockey team in their encounter against Japan whom India hammered by 6-0 in a lopsided contest at Tauranga. BCCI also shared the pictures by saying, “India U-19 boys in attendance to show their support for @hockeyindia men who beat Japan 6-0 at Tauranga, New Zealand #U19CWC”

Now, the Indian Hockey Team wished the good luck to ‘The Wall’ and his boys for the ongoing World Cup 2018 in New Zealand on Twitter with a wonderful message.

They wrote, “The strongest Wall in India, #RahulDravid wished the Men's Team his best ahead of their first game of the season. We would like to wish Rahul and the @BCCI U-19s all the very best with the ongoing @ICC #U19CWC!#IndiaKaGame”
