Former Pakistani captain and chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Imran Khan has reportedly married for the third time, his new bride being his spiritual guide.

According to the reports, PTI core committee member Mufti Saeed performed the nikah (marriage ceremony) on January, 1, 2018. Mufti Saeed was also the nikah khawan when Imran married his second wife Reham Khan in 2015.

However, Naeemul Haq, spokesman for the party also dispelled this impression. He stated, "Considering my 35-year-long association and keeping in view the fact that I have been privy to his personal life, I can say with absolute confidence that nothing like this occurred."

Naaemul also added, "Even if he (Imran Khan) marries, he will do after the general elections of 2018."

Reportedly, the marriage took place at the house of a person known to both Imran and his new bride, in Sector Y of Defence Housing Authority, Lahore. Khan’s new wife had divorced her previous husband some months back. Her ex-husband confirmed the separation which, he said, they opted for spiritual reasons. He, however, denied his former wife marrying PTI chairman.

Imran Khan first tied the knot with Jemima Khan on May 16, 1995 that ended in divorce after nine years on June 22, 2004.
