Legendary music composer AR Rahman is celebrating his 51st birthday today. Having started his musical journey back in 1992, Rahman has gone on to achieve many laurels for India, including the most cherished Academy Award and two Grammys. No wonder, the music maverick enjoys a great deal of popularity all across the globe.

Apart from winning the hearts of millions, Rahman has also managed to spread his magic on the cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. And on the day of his birthday, the Master Blaster revealed his love and admiration for the music maestro through his tweet.

Tendulkar posted a picture of himself with Rahman and captioned it as: “Wishing the Maestro, @arrahman, a very very happy birthday. May God bless you.”

Very few people know that Sachin shares a very good camaraderie with AR Rahman. They have been previously spotted on various public functions together and mutually admire each other’s craft.

Besides Sachin, India’s left-handed batsman Suresh Raina also wished the Oscar Winner by giving reference of his super-hit music for the movies.

“Be it Bombay or Roja or Saathiya.. You've always entertained us with your soulful voice and music. Here's wishing for many more. Happy birthday to the Maestro, @arrahman.#HBDRahman” tweeted Raina.

Rahman runs his dream school of music at Chennai named as K.M Music Conservatory, to inspire budding musicians.
