Virat Kohli along with his wife Anushka Sharma has departed for South Africa on Thursday (December 28) morning, wherein they will spend their New Year eve together before the Indian captain will get engaged in a Test series assignment.

Virat, who was dating Anushka Sharma since last 5 years, had tied the knot with Bollywood diva on December 11 in Tuscany, Italy in a private ceremony. Fondly known as 'Virushka', the couple had returned to India on December 19 following their honeymoon in Rome and Finland and had hosted 2 grand reception parties in Delhi and Mumbai on December 21 and December 26 respectively.

The adorable couple were spotted at Mumbai airport while boarding their flight. While Kohli was seen sporting India’s official tracksuit, Anushka wore a striped black and white jumpsuit under a dark jacket and white sneakers.

Team India are slated to play three Tests, six ODIs and three T20Is against the Proteas, with the series opener starting with Cape Town Test on January 5, 2018. Meanwhile, Anushka will return to India in the first week of January to start preparing for her next movie with Shah Rukh Khan.
