Chris Lynn who finally made a comeback in BBL 07 with a power packed 25 against Sydney Thunders has denied chances of making a comeback of an ODI comeback any sooner. Injuries have been consistently hurting Lynn’s progress in international cricket. However now that he is finally back , he still believes he will take time to gain match fitness and will get used to the conditions as the tournament wears on.

"I was just a little bit apprehensive and I think anyone would be, being out of the game for five or six months," said Lynn, who had surgery in July. But as the tournament progresses I'll feel more comfortable."

"I've played one T20 game so that's not even in the back of my mind," he said. I still can't throw with my dominant hand and still believe to play for Australia you've got to be 100 per cent fit. I’d love to be out there but I still think I've got a fair way to go."

Lynn was fielding at third man against Sydney Thundersand also threw with his right arm and that too underarm which is enough to highlight the fact that his injury is still troubling him and can be a risky affair in future.

"Even though my shoulder's broken, my batting isn't," he said. I'm pretty confident I can still build on that and really build an innings at Adelaide Oval” concluded Lynn.
