David Warner, Australian explosive opener and vice-captain, on Tuesday, returned to form with the bat, as he smashed his 21st Test ton in the fourth Ashes Test against England at the MCG.

It is known that the Ashes series always witnesses some on and off-field banter between the players and Warner did not let any chance to hold back after the England's verbal attack on him.

The Aussie opener also believes that the Ashes series has been played in the right spirit and banter has always been a part of the game and he did not take it personally.

According to a report in Cricbuzz, Warner told reporters, “I didn't let it go... obviously I had to bite back as I normally do. That's on the field and is always going to happen in the game of cricket. It's an Ashes series, there is always going to be niggle and banter. I think this series has been played in the right sprits. There was probably only on one occasion that it went too far.”

The opener also revealed that he always enjoyed playing against England and he would like to respond to the verbal attack of the England players on the field.

Warner concluded by saying, “I’ve been a little quiet. It’s an Ashes Test series, every time we come out here we know there is a bit of banter between the two countries and I really enjoy playing against them and you hear the crowd out here, the English have a strong following. I’m going to cop it when I go over there and I always do, so might as well keep giving it to them.”
