SA v IND 2018: Commentary team for the India vs South Africa series in 2018 disclosed

India will be playing the first Test from 5th January 2018.

India will be touring South Africa in January 2018 and the tour consisting of three tests, six One-Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals will be played across five venues in South Africa. 

Majority of Indian fans will be watching it live on the TV. India will be playing away from home for most of the 2018-19 season, after back to back home series 2016-17.

Sony Pictures Sports Networks (SPSN) will broadcast every match of the India’s tour of South Africa with the first Test match starting on January 5, 2018. To ensure an unparalleled viewing experience, the series will be telecast on SONY TEN 1 channels with English commentary and on SONY TEN 3 channels with Hindi commentary.

Viewers can also look forward to the return of ‘Extraaa Innings’, the network’s flagship live pre and post game studio show, during the series.

Some of the panelists and commentators confirmed for the upcoming tour include Sanjay Manjrekar, Ajay Jadeja, RP Singh, Murali Kartik, Harsha Bhogle and Jonty Rhodes. Deep Dasgupta and Vivek Razdan are also included in the Hindi commentary team for the series. 

The last time India toured South Africa in 2013, the hosts won the two-match series 1-0 after winning the second Test.
