Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in a destination wedding in Italy earlier this month, and several prominent names from the sports world and film industry blessed the newlyweds on their biggest day on the social media.

However, one name from the Indian Cricket who delayed their blessing for the couple and who is none other than Indian spin legend and former Team India head coach Anil Kumble, under whom the national side made several records.

It is known Kohli’s reservations about Kumble’s coaching style led his resignation as Team India head coach as the spin legend was accused of leaking WhatsApp conversion about team news to the media.

The relation between Kohli and Kumble isn't hidden from anyone and there were many who believed that the reason behind it was their heated exchanges during his stint with the Indian team. But, Kumble put the past behind and turned up for the much-awaited reception of Virushka’s wedding with his wife on Tuesday night at the Astor Ballroom at the St Regis, Lower Parel in Mumbai.

Anil Kumble not only surprised everyone by attending the high-profile wedding reception but even he was also seen pretty happy while greeting the newlyweds Virat and Anushka and enjoying the reception.  

With this move, it seems that both are trying to work on their relationship and if it is true then it will be great news for Indian cricket, as Kumble and Kohli are reputed personalities in the cricket world, as well as they, have been greats of the game in their respective eras, so their good relationship will surely help the Indian cricket in future.
