Rohit Sharma, the stand-in skipper of the Indian team in the ongoing limited over series against Sri Lanka. India has played brilliantly under Rohit and has outplayed the visitors in all aspects.

Rohit, who is captaining in his maiden T20I series may achieve a unique record in this series for India. The hosts and Sri Lanka will be playing the last T20I match at Mumbai on Sunday and a win would result in a whitewash. This will be only the second T20I series whitewash for India. Only former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has done this.

He achieved the feat in January 2016 when India rolled over Australia at Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney to register a 3-0 victory. Rohit has the opportunity to register his name into the record books.

India thrashed Sri Lanka in the first two T20I at Cuttack and Indore. They gave no chance to the visitors and secured the victory with 93 and 88 runs in first and second ODI respectively. Their win in first ODI was India's biggest win with runs in T20I.

The second ODI was special too, as Rohit recorded the joint-fastest century in T20 Internationals off 35 balls, equalling David Miller’s ton against Bangladesh.

India has a good chance to make this series memorable with another trouncing win in the last T20I match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
