Virat Kohli is fast becoming a brand to be valued with the best out there. Thanks to all of his performances on the field, his value off the field has risen astronomically. Advertisement companies love him and he now has the choice of endorsing products that he wants.

Adding to his many accolades, Virat Kohli is now ranked no.3 in the Forbes India 2017 Celebrity 100 list. As per the official records of Forbes India, Virat has earned INR 100.72 crore this year from all his sources of income, including having a Grade A contract with the BCCI.

He also receives additional allowances for captaining the Indian national team in all the three formats; is the highest paid player in the IPL and has more than 20 brands that have him for endorsement of their products.

The top two spots on the list are taken by Bollywood megastars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Salman Khan takes the top spot with gross earnings of INR 232.83 crore. He is followed by Shah Rukh Khan, who has earned INR 170.5 crore this year.

Apart from Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are the other two cricketers who make an appearance on the list. Sachin, with earnings close to INR 82.5 crore is at no.5 in the list; while MS Dhoni with his earnings of INR 63.77 crore is at no.8.

Virat Kohli is the only celebrity below the age of 30 years on the list.
